The drugs involved in controlled ovarian stimulation are expensive.The consumables like the micro dishes, micro pipettes, ICSI holding pipette and injecting needle, the Nunc wells etc are very delicate. They are each tested for“embryo safety” and all are imported. They are very thin (eg: thin as 70 micron= 0.07 mm in diameter).The culture media is imported from Europe or Australia and are to be stored in particular conditions even in transport. They cannot be re-used.
